Always initiated by the elders of a sending Calvary Church, and established with the intention that they will become self-governing, self-sustaining, and self-replicating in time.

Church Replant
Replants happen when a church comes to understand they've declined to the point where they'll soon have to close their doors. While honoring their heritage and community, a declining church can join the CFC for a restart: new resources, new life.

Church Adoption
Adoptions happen when an existing church wants to become part of the Calvary Family of Churches, often initiated by a church looking to partner with the CFC for support of varying degrees.

A family, one church at a time
How We Got Here
What started as one church's revitalization became a movement. Here's the story so far.
01
Revitalization begins. Calvary Englewood, once near closing, experiences renewed health and gospel growth.

First plant. Calvary Englewood plants Calvary Littleton, a mile and a half away.

2015: The CFC is formed. What began as strategy sessions between pastors becomes a Spirit-led movement.

Calvary Littleton plants Calvary Denver, the family's second generation of church planting.
Calvary Español is planted out of Calvary Englewood, the family's first Spanish-speaking congregation.

Pastoral residencies begin, training the next generation of planting and replanting pastors.

First replant: La Junta, Colorado.

First adoption: Wellspring, in Aurora, Colorado.

Today: 36 churches across 9 states and 2 countries, still multiplying.
